Help

Frequently asked questions

If you cannot find your answer here, write to me and I will gladly help.

Getting started

I have never done yoga. Can I join?

Yes. A gentler option is offered for every movement. In your first classes it is enough to take it easy and get to know your body.

What is face yoga, and does it really work?

Face yoga combines deliberate contraction and release of the facial and neck muscles with massage and lymphatic drainage movements. Regular practice is reported to affect muscle tone, circulation and relaxation. It is not a substitute for medical treatment or a cosmetic procedure, and I would encourage you to keep your expectations within that frame.

What do I need?

For face yoga, a comfortable place to sit, a mirror and clean hands are enough. For the yoga classes I recommend a mat, and optionally a block or a folded blanket.

Classes

Which platform are the classes on?

All live classes run on Zoom. The joining link is emailed to you before the class.

Do I have to turn my camera on?

No. That said, in face yoga classes in particular, having your camera on lets me give you feedback on your form. It is entirely up to you.

Can I watch the recording if I miss a class?

Yes. Each recording stays available to you for 3 days from the day the class took place, so you do not lose that week's practice when your schedule does not fit.

Which time zone are class times in?

All times are given in Türkiye time (GMT+3).

Membership and payment

What does monthly membership include?

Access to every live class for a month, plus that month's class recordings. Each recording stays open for 3 days.

How can I pay?

Payments are currently taken through the shop page. Direct payment and member sign-in on this site are coming soon.

What are the cancellation and refund terms?

For single classes you can cancel up to 24 hours before the start and transfer to another class. For memberships you can stop the renewal at the end of the period. Get in touch for details.

Health

I am pregnant or have a health condition. What should I do?

If you are pregnant, have had recent surgery, live with a neck or spine condition, or have had a recent treatment on your skin, please write to me before joining and check with your doctor. Classes are not a substitute for medical advice or treatment.
